The Best 3 Ways To Curve Hunger When On A Diet

As someone who struggled to lose weight when I very first decided it was time to lose weight or face some serious health consequences or death, it was a struggle. The biggest problem for me and I noticed with many other people were the cravings. So creative me started to experiment when I found myself feeling hungry after I had just eaten.
1. BRUSH YOUR TEETH
Oh, and don't forget the Listerine either so your mouth can hold the toothpaste taste a little longer. I always keep a travel size bottle on hand. After you brush your teeth, rinse your mouth out with Listerine and go on about your day. The added use of Listerine will kill your cravings instantly since you know you will not be able to taste the food you're craving.
TIP -- this will not work to replace eating. This will only work in response to psychological eating. Also known as "emotional eating or overeating"...
2. EAT A HEALTHY SNACK
It's nothing wrong with a light snack. It's when you consider an actual meal, a snack. You must know the difference. Before I actually got serious with my diet I considered a burger and fry from McDonald's as a snack. Sad right?, true story though. Now a snack for me is a popsicle or a small bowl of fruit.
TIP -- don't get it twisted, fruit or any health snack can add up in calories. So unless it says "0 calories"... then monitor the per serving.
3. GO TO SLEEP
Truth is, most cravings don't hit until the middle of the day or late at night anyway, so if you have a craving in the middle of the day and not doing anything, take a nap. If it's late at night and you should be sleep anyway, go to sleep. It was times when the cravings got so bad that I just went to sleep. I woke up refreshed and feeling brand new although I only slept for an hour to two hours.
TIP -- not everyone can just "go to sleep" and I understand that. So if this last way just doesn't work for you then try drinking a cup of water with some ice in it.
BONUS TIP -- don't buy what you shouldn't be eating, or better yet don't buy your biggest weakness. Hiding your treats will not go that far. It may work for a little while, but eventually that method is going to become ineffective.
